Next morning, Mike was able to take a tour of the absolutely amazing life's work of Marta, her attention to every detail from the art to the furnishings truly reflected her art and passion!

Marta Becket was 87 years old when she gave her final performance on February 12, 2012, stopping because she could no longer dance en pointe, though she continued creating shows from a chair in what she called her "Sitting Down Show" until her retirement at the ripe old age of 88! After the tour, Mike headed out.

Mike's solo hike through Death Valley

His hike took him near places he went with Bone back in 1988, and even though it was February, it was definitely a pretty darn warm day! With the westernmost objective checked, Mike headed east to Las Vegas and a visit with Mikey!
Mike and Mikey in Mike's solo hike through Death Valley

Mikey moved to Sin City several years ago and it just made sense for Mike to visit his oldest Son on his drive back. Mikey showed Mike his Trump Central Garage and caught up.
Meanwhile ..... in St. George!

While Mike caught up in Death Valley and with Mikey, Bone caught up on IBM nonsense and discovered a dining treat!
Being on foot, there was a limited number of places near the IHG that Bone was staying at, and sense it was a super nice day, sunny and in the low 70's Bone wander his small little neighborhood by the Freeway and had the choice of a sketchy, Mexican place and Cracker Barrel, choosing the safer of the two, Bone thought he would try the Chicken Fried Steak, which was freaking awesome! Afterwards, Bone retired for the evening waiting to meet Mike the next morning.
