Virginia Coney Island: Jackson

Walking out of Jackson Coney Island, Bone headed to the Car when Mike yelled "Hey Bone!" only to see Mike half a block down the street ( on the other side of a strip joint!) under the Virginia Coney Island sign. Just like Lafayette and American Coney Islands in Detroit (minus the strip joint!) Apparently it was a similar thing in that the two brothers that started Jackson split up and the younger brother opened Virginia.

What is the Virginia Coney Island Story?!

Mike and Bone check their story of a Coney Island has been in operation since 1914, Virginia Coney Island and is a Jackson tradition. In 2013, VCI won an award for the Best Coney in Jackson, Michigan! They have signs everywhere that they are ranked in the Top 5 in the State!

Virginia's Coney Island has a very different ju-ju, it is a little more run down than Jackson but has much better hot dogs !! At least the chili was much better! As the boys munched their dogs, they were kibiziting with the waitress who called over the two owners, a very humble husband and wife team. The Boys told them of their many, many (yep again many) hot dog tours, and they thought Virginia's was way better than Jackson's. They were truly excited and they started to tell all their staff and their VERY blue-collar clientele about the Boy's journeys and choice!

Now, Mike and Bone thought they were better than Jacksons, but in the grand scheme of things? They were just allright!
