2026 Roamin' the Roman Lake!
Roma!
Rome! The Eternal City!!!! The city that became an empire, did so by making the Mediterranean Sea it's own private lake! The path that led Rome from Republic to Empire went through the pesky Punic Phoenician's! The Carthaginian Empire and the Roman Republic fought three wars between 264 to 146 BC, which not only changed the Mediteranean, it made names like Hannibal household names even in the 21st Century!, it change changed Rome from a Republic to an Empire, heck, it changed Human history!
So Mike and Bone decided to check out the story and the history starting with ground zero, Carthage, better known these days as the Tunesian capital Tunis, along with all the very cool Punic-turned-Roman colonial cities in Hispania (Spain) and Gaul (France). All this in the hottest European Summer on record, made it a hot time along the Roman Lake!
